This was a dream session.  The light, the colors, the couple, the DOG!!!!!!  (LOL!)  But, seriously what a great maternity session.  They welcomed their sweet little boy just a few weeks after these pictures were done.  I loved the outfits Rachel picked out, I had scouted out some new locations for this session (which, I LOVED!) and the sun coming up was just icing on the cake.  Here are some highlights from their session!

Jordyn and Pickle (yup, I can’t even remember what his actual name is – he was introduced to me as pickle and that’s all I know him as!  HA!) are some of the sweetest people I’ve worked with.  I actually did Jordyn’s senior pictures years ago and I can remember working with her then and loving her, so when it came time for their wedding, I was thrilled to be their photographer.  Their wedding was in January on one the coldest days and the wind was INSANE!  We planned on doing some (most!) outside – – but in the end, we didn’t do any.  Thankfully, they got ready at the Retlaw in FondDuLac and that place has endless places for photo’s!  We were just fine staying inside the warm hotel doing all their pictures!  We went over to Whispering Springs for their ceremony and reception – a venue that I’ve always loved!  We did a few more photo’s there before their ceremony.  The day went flawless and the steaks we had for dinner were incredible!  HAHA!  We didn’t stay for the dance but I’m sure they had a packed dance floor and I’m sure all the guests had a great time!

I won’t lie – this time of year is always really hard for me.  April is always one of the slowest months for me because the weather is so unpredictable, but it makes me go a little stir-crazy!  My head starts spinning and I just need a creative outlet!!  I have been spending a bunch of time the last few weeks getting ready for everything coming up in 2022.  I’ve worked on new style guides to help clients with outfits, I’ve scouted a bunch of different locations (which I’m SO excited about!), I’ve booked a bunch of sessions for this year and I’m so excited for the weather to start turning and for warmer temps and GREEN GRASS to start!!!!  I have a really amazing year coming up, I have more weddings booked for this year than Ive had in years (whoop whoop!!!) and my summer (and fall!) are already starting to get full.  With all this being said, I just wanted to remind everyone that my Saturdays are all reserve for weddings only.  I won’t be doing any sessions on Saturdays again this year.  Sundays I am always closed and no exceptions on that.  And, Friday evenings are also pretty much all taken because I have so many Friday weddings that I’m not taking any more Friday evening sessions during the summer.  Please book soon if you’re looking for a summer or fall session!  I know last year I turned some people away because I couldn’t take anymore on – – – and I don’t want that to happen again this year!  🙂

I’m so excited to share more of James and Tiffanys session!  We went to the marsh in Waupun and stopped a few places along the auto tour.  Tiffany told me at the session she was about 12 weeks pregnant and they are expecting their little bundle any day!  I’m so happy for them!  Take a look at their session!  🙂

This was my last 2021 wedding.  I ended on a high note, for sure.  I met Sam earlier last year and I loved being a part of helping her plan her big day.  She is SUCH a sweet girl!  I loved working with Sam and Noah.  Their wedding and reception were at Springbook in Burnett.  Springbook has endless places for photo’s and the grounds there are beautiful!  It was freezing outside and yet sam kept saying she was fine and just wanted more and more photo’s – – which I was OK with!  Until we started noticing her lips turning blue, then we decided to head in!  LOL.  Her dress was absolutely stunning and looked incredible on her.  Now, they are waiting the arrival of their sweet baby girl later this summer!  Take a look into their big day!

It was an absolute pleasure to meet Travis and his parents last fall.  We spent the afternoon going around to a few places for his senior pictures.  Travis is an amazing basketball player and has big dreams to play in the Paralympics one day – – – and I’m fairly certain he will!  He’s also a big bucks fan (go bucks!!!) so we hit it off great!  Here are a few from his session.
